Lets take a journey together...

104 projects CIC are an arts and heritage production company working with disabled communities to create and curate art, heritage and culture.

We are Invisible We are Visible #WAIWAV (2022) is a day of DADA interventions by presented by DASH , made possible by with the award of the 2021 Ampersand Prize. 104 projects were asked to make a visual arts film about the project to be screened at Tate Modern and other participating galleries. Access for London (2022) is a major project engaging young disabled Londoners in researching the history of accessibility on London’s transport network. Outputs included producing a self-guided tour app, oral histories,
website and Heritage Boards for permanent display at the new Battersea Power Station underground station. Partners included Transport for London, The London Transport Museum and London Metropolitan Archive. Find out
more HERE. This project was funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund.

Oliver Twist (2021) we were asked to work with Leeds Playhouse on their acclaimed production of Oliver Twist, featuring D(d)eaf and disabled actors from Ramps on the Moon. We filmed the production for live streaming. Watch

National Open Youth Orchestra (2021) NOYO is an orchestra made up of disabled and non-disabled young musicians. This was a collaboration to make an art film that responded to the orchestra’s original piece What Fear We Then, filmed at their centres in Bristol, Bournemouth and Guildhall, London. Reasonable Adjustment (2020) Reasonable Adjustment was a visual arts exhibition on disability rights, which opened at the Art House Gallery in Wakefield and also toured to the Attenborough Arts Centre in Leicester. It was
supported by Unlimited, Arts Council England, Art Fund and Southbank Centre. We worked with people from the disabled community group Bright Sparks at Leicester Print Works to produce materials for the exhibition. Read

Reasonable Adjustment Online (2021) With support from the Arts Council of England’s culture recovery fund, we were able to reversion the exhibition for
online. The online version opened at the Southbank Centre’s Unlimited festival and received over 50,000 views in the first 48hrs. See it HERE.

BFI Film Academy (2018-present) Since 2018, we have been running BFI Film Academy Cambridge with 16-19 year olds who are passionate about cinema. We work with the young filmmakers to develop their ideas into short films over a number of weeks. For more information click HERE.

Deaf mental health support group (2021) During the winter lockdown in early 2021, we ran series of Deaf mental Health support sessions funded by the community fund. Speakers included Deaf comedian Sahera Kahn. For more information click HERE.

Outside In (2020) We worked with leading disability and outsider arts organisation Outside In to interview their artists about their groundbreaking work on Outsider Art. The film can be viewed HERE.

Treloar’s – Educating the Disabled (2019) Working with Hampshire Archive and London Metropolitan Archive, we ran a project on the history of Treloar’s College, a school and college for disabled people in Hampshire. Outputs

included a schools pack. The project was funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. A film about the project can be seen HERE.
